Simple air fryer chicken recipe is the perfect midweek meal

Nobody wants to eat the same meal day in day out every week, so if you’re desperate for some quick and easy inspiration, this could be the perfect recipe for you.

TikToker @eloiserecipes shared a delicious meal idea, and you only need to pop it in the air fryer which makes things so much easier.

In the caption, she wrote: “Air fryer honey garlic chicken tenders. Perfect high-protein chicken recipe. Add to a salad, and serve with chips or just as they are. So easy to make and so delicious!”

She explained the recipe was for two portions, and you’d need to fry the chicken at 200 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

The chicken may be coated, but it’s easy to make and so delicious.

For this, you’ll need two chicken breasts, cut into chicken tender-style strips.

For the coating, you will need a tablespoon of the following:

– Onion granules

– Cajun seasoning

– Smoked paprika

– Garlic granules/powder

– Salt & pepper

For the cornflake seasoning, you’ll need 30g of cornflakes, and then a tablespoon of the following:

– Onion granules

– Cajun seasoning

– Salt & pepper

You’ll also need a whisked egg to help the coating take to the chicken.

Then for the sauce, you’ll need:

– 2x tbsp garlic puree

– 2x tbsp soy sauce

– 2x tbsp sweet chilli sauce

– 2 x tbsp honey

– 1x tbsp chilli flakes

– 1x tbsp dried coriander
