Stree 2 can now be streamed on a rental basis for Rs 349, wherein it gives audiences 48 hours of access to the film from the time they first hit play. The film was released on August 15 in theatres for Independence Day. The film has managed to collect Rs 713 crore net in India. The storyline of Stree 2 is about the town of Chanderi which is terrorized by a new character named Sarkata. Vicky and his friends take the help of the mysterious character. Stree 2 is the second film to cross the Rs 550 crore mark, whereas the first film is Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. The film had some special appearances by Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Varun Dhawan. The makers of Stree are all set to come up with third instalment.
