According to reports, the teaser for ‘Stree 2,’ starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is set to be unveiled on Friday, June 14, but with a twist.
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’ is one of the most highly anticipated films. After a long wait, fans will finally see the teaser of ‘Stree 2.’ Yes, you read that right! The teaser of the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer is set to be unveiled on Friday, June 14. However, there is a twist. The makers of the horror-comedy will not release the teaser on any social media or video-sharing platform.
Creating a buzz among fans, the ‘Stree 2’ teaser will be released directly on big screens with ‘Munjya,’ another horror-comedy movie that has been receiving a good response from the audience. ‘Munjya’ features Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Deol, and Mona Singh in key roles. Coming back to the ‘Stree 2’ teaser, the news of the teaser release was shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
CBFC approved two teasers of ‘Stree 2’
According to Bollywood Hungama, on June 7, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) approved two teasers for ‘Stree 2.’ The first teaser is 1 minute and 23 seconds long, while the second runs for 1 minute and 6 seconds. Both teasers have received a U/A certificate.
A source also told the news portal, “The teaser will be released in June itself, that too this week, though the release of the film is almost 2 ½ months away. This promo of ‘Stree 2’ will give an idea as to what one can expect from the film this time.”
The Maddock Supernatural Universe kicked off with ‘Stree,’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, pioneering horror-comedies in Bollywood. Building on its success, ‘Roohi’ and ‘Bhediya’ followed, drawing from the legend of the Yapum in Arunachal Pradesh. The universe has further expanded with ‘Munjya,’ featuring a CGI character and exploring legends inspired by Indian folklore and mythology. ‘Stree 2,’ directed by Amar Kaushik, reunites Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, with Abhishek Banerjee also joining the cast.
