THIS is the shocking moment an angry driver lashed out at a motorcyclist with a steering wheel lock during a road rage row.
Horrifying video shows the man in an orange T-shirt, blue body warmer and jeans squaring up to the helmet-clad biker last Thursday.
In the clip he is then seen pushing him in the chest before striking him with the heavy, metal anti-theft device.
The motorcyclist – in a black jacket and orange trousers – then retaliated by punching him in the side of the head.
The force of the right hook sent his glasses flying and him sprawling towards the ground.
The biker then pushed him into a bollard by the side of the road as horrified bystanders watched on.
Four witnesses intervened and broke up the fighting pair and helped the motorist to his feet.
The rider then got back on his motorbike parked in Greatorex Street, Whitechapel, east London while the man went to get back in his silver car parked in front of it.
The 28-second video was filmed by an onlooker from a window above.
One local said on social media: “Totally pointless fighting a bloke with a lid on.”
Another echoed this adding: “You’ll never beat a guy in a helmet.
“Why try?”
A third joked: “His glasses took flight.”
The fight was not reported to the Met Police and they are not investigating.
