Shein is named exclusive fashion partner for KCON LA 2024

Chinese ultra-fast fashion giant Shein has been named as the exclusive fashion partner for KCON LA 2024, a leading K-Pop fan and artist festival in Los Angeles, California, for the first time. 

The new partnership sees Shein introduce several immersive and interactive experiences to the event and launch a curated collection. Inspired by K-Pop aesthetics, the collection includes apparel and accessories ranging between 10 and 30 USD that aim to help fans showcase their love for the genre through fashion. 

“We are thrilled to partner with KCON LA 2024 as the exclusive fashion sponsor,” said George Chiao, president of Shein US, in a statement. “This collaboration highlights both our commitment to setting fashion trends and our passion for supporting cultural diversity and creativity, including the vibrant K-POP community. We look forward to bringing fans closer to the K-POP experience through our unique activations and exclusive collection.”

In addition to shopping the curated collection online, attendees of KCON 2024 will be able to interact with renowned K-Pop artists STAYC and Craxy through exclusive appearances and programming. In addition, attendees can also enjoy complimentary accessory giveaways and customize their photo card keychains with charms and gems from Shein.

Shein will also be sponsoring KCON’s Relay Dance Battle, offering K-Pop cover dance groups the opportunity to showcase their talents. The Grand Prize winner will receive a professionally produced dance video sponsored by Shein, a 1500 USD Shein gift card, and the chance to perform live at KCON LA 2024 on the M&G Stage with STAYC.

Taking place from July 26 to July 28, KCON LA 2024 will transform Los Angeles into the premier hub for K-culture aficionados. Hosted at the renowned Crypto.com Arena, LA Convention Center, and Gilbert Lindsay Plaza, this event celebrates the best of Korean entertainment, music, and fashion.
