Maheep Kapoor couldn’t be more excited about returning to the reality show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives which premiered last week. With all the gossips, drama, and fun as the Bollywood Wives meet the Delhi Divas, this season has been garnering ample excitement. The model turned entrepreneur Kapoor lady was seen having a heartfelt conversation with producer of the show and friend Karan Johar during the show wherein she opened up about the debut fauxpax of her daughter Shanaya Kapoor.
“Shanaya Kapoor was ‘traumatized’”, reveals mother Maheep Kapoor after the newbie’s debut film with Dharma was shelved
For the unversed, actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor has always been keen on taking up acting as a career and was expected to make her big Bollywood debut under the Dharma Productions’ banner with the film titled Bedhadak. The venture was announced with Lakshya of Kill fame and actor Gurfateh Pirzada as the leading men, with director Shashank Khaitan as the director. However, the film failed to take off. Addressing the same during a conversation in Fabulous Lives v/s Bollywood Wives, Maheep said, “Shanaya’s film didn’t start. She was traumatized. You had to intervene.”
In the same show, the Kapoor lady also opened up about her own bad phase which she underwent during the pandemic wherein she also lost her house help Rekha. “I was going through my own madness in my head. I had exposed myself to my old parents, and Shanaya after contracting COVID-19. We all fell like nine pins. Understand the trauma that I was going through after Rekha had passed away when doctors were saying that my old mother needs to go into hospital.”
Fabulous Lives v/s Bollywood Wives, produced under the banner Dharmatic Entertainment, revolves around the lives of Bollywood Queens Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari Soni, Bhavana Pandey, Seema Sajdeh, and this time they are joined by the ‘Fabulous’ Delhi Divas Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, Shalini Passi, and Kalyani Saha Chawla. The show is currently streaming on Netflix.
