Ishq Vishk Rebound: The trailer of the highly anticipated movie “Ishq Vishk Rebound” featuring Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal was released on June 11, Tuesday. The fans were nostalgic after they witnessed almost 2 minutes-long trailer. The movie showcases a contemporary college romance, exploring modern love through the lens of Gen Z dating habits. “Ishq Vishk Rebound” arrives nearly two decades after Shahid Kapoor-Amrita Rao’s original “Ishq Vishk.” Fans are curious whether Shahid will make a guest appearance in this new edition, but his participation remains uncertain. At the trailer launch event, director Ken Ghosh addressed this speculation, saying, “You will know that on June 21.”

The trailer shows a complicated story of two couples who are friends among eachother and their trajectory of growth in terms of romance as well as friendship. To top it all of, Sonu Nigam brings a nostalgic vibe with his singing in the last bit of the trailer. The trailer has done a good job at giving hints of a whirlwind of emotions be it excitement or sorrow combined with bits of Jubin Nautiyal’s voice in the backdrop.

Rohit Saraf has previously clarified that “Ishq Vishk Rebound” is neither a sequel nor a remake of Shahid’s film. He explained, “The common link between the two films is the franchise. However, it’s a completely new story, focusing on a Gen Z love story,” during an interview with PTI.

The “Ishq Vishk Rebound” trailer also features a few songs from the original soundtrack, adding a nostalgic touch. Directed by Marathi filmmaker Nipun Dharmadhikari, this film marks his Bollywood directorial debut. It also introduces Pashmina Roshan, Hrithik Roshan’s niece, to the acting world, along with Jibraan Khan, recognized for his childhood role as Krish, the son of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s characters in “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.”
