Shah Rukh Khan Health Update: King Khan Shah Rukh Khan scared everyone as his health deteriorated due to dehydration. He got admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heat stroke during the IPL 2024 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Shah Rukh Khan, who co-owns KKR, was at the match with his children SuhanaKhan and AbRam Khan, and his manager Pooja Dadlani. SRK’s wife and entrepreneur Gauri Khan and friend Juhi Chawla, along with her husband Jay Mehta rushed to the hospital in Ahmedabad after they heard Khan’s hospitalisation.
Juhi Chawla also co-owns KKR with her husband Jay Mehta. She shared Shah Rukh Khan’s health updatewas seen leaving the hospital but did not speak to the media. Speaking exclusively to News18, Juhi said, “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.”
Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh’s wife, was also seen arriving at the hospital soon after the news of his hospitalization surfaced. Meanwhile, Suhana Khan returned to Mumbai and was spotted with her friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, and Navya Nanda at a private airport.
Shah Rukh and Juhi Chawla have been close friends since the early ’90s and have worked together in several films including “Darr,” “Yes Boss,” “Duplicate,” and “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.”
On Tuesday, KKR secured a spot in the IPL 2024 finals by defeating SRH by 8 wickets. Reflecting on the win, Juhi expressed her joy, saying, “It’s such a good feeling! We are all so happy, so thrilled, proud and so thankful of the team… they have played consistently well throughout the tournament and reached the finals. Every year, we wish and hope for this exhilarating moment and today, it is actually here – the prestigious trophy is just one game away.”
Juhi concluded by saying that everyone is hopeful and praying that KKR will win the trophy after 10 years and make their fans proud.
