Recently, a new Netflix documentary, The Roshans, was released, showcasing the rich legacy of the Roshan family, including Roshan Lal Nagrath, Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, and Hrithik Roshan. The documentary brought together several Bollywood personalities, including Shah Rukh Khan, who shared some memorable anecdotes about his association with the family.
SRK Recalls Working With Rakesh Roshan In The ’90s
Shah Rukh Khan, who has worked with both Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan, took a trip down memory lane while speaking about his experiences. He worked with Rakesh Roshan on films like Karan Arjun and King Uncle, and he remembered the unique style of Rakesh Roshan while directing.
He recalled how the director had a distinct way of saying ‘action’, which used to scare him. He said, “Rakesh ji has this unique style of saying ‘action’, ‘cut’, he scares you. I think I used to speak too fast. He was the first director to say, ‘Slow down, don’t speak too fast, don’t hurry. Take your time.’”
When SRK Was Stunned By Hrithik Roshan’s Dance Moves
Shah Rukh Khan also shared his thoughts on Hrithik Roshan, who made his debut with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000). According to Shah Rukh Khan, it was Hrithik Roshan’s dancing skills that truly impressed him. He said, “To be one of the biggest superstars in the history of Indian cinema is mind-boggling.” Shah Rukh also recalled his surprise when he first saw his iconic dance moves in the song Ek Pal Ka Jeena. He said, “When that song began to play… (Ek Pal Ka Jeena). When I saw him, I was shocked he could dance like that. That is something I didn’t know.”
Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan worked together in several films, including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Don 2.
