Shah Rukh Khan knows how to win hearts even with the simplest of gestures. The superstar often leaves a great impact on whoever he works with. Whenever any director or actor collaborates with him, they always have an interesting anecdote to share. One such person is actor Tanya Abrol, who shared screen space with the superstar in Chak De India (2007). In the movie, SRK played women’s hockey team coach, Kabir Khan.
In Chak De India, Tanya Abrol played Balbir Kaur, one of the hockey players. In a recent interview, Tanya revealed the sweet gesture Shah Rukh Khan did for her by going against the rule. In an interaction with Times Now, Tanya revealed that one day when they were shooting outside, he helped her. The team was not allowed to take food inside the turf and the rules were very strict. So what did SRK do? Well, he smartly sneaked in something for Tanya to eat.
“I was really hungry. Shah Rukh Khan sir got some cashews for me in his pocket. I was like, ‘aap to star ho hum naye hai hume daant padegi production house se.’ He is very down-to-earth,” revealed the actress. Further in this entertainment news, Tanya Abrol was asked if she is still in touch with the superstar. The actress revealed that they are not in touch. However, whenever she meets him for promotions, he talks to her nicely. “He ask me, ‘yaha kya kar rahi hain? (What are you doing here?) ‘ I laugh and say, ‘bas kaam kar rahe hain’ (Just working),” revealed Tanya.
Speaking of Chak De India, directed by Shimit Amin, along with SRK and Tanya, the sports drama also stars Vidya Malvade, Anaitha Nair, Sagarika Ghatge and Chitrashi Rawat. The movie received a great response from audience and critics alike. This year, the SRK starrer was re-released in theatres in March.

Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy with various commitments. The superstar is all set to host the IIFA 2024 this weekend. He will be joined by Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal for the same. SRK’s next is Sujoy Ghosh’s King, which also stars Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
