The top names in the Hindi film business gathered in Abu Dhabi for the second day of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) 2024. Shah Rukh captivated the audience with his hosting at the occasion. He swayed the crowd to his hit song Jhoome Jo Pathaan, along with co-hosts Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar. Among them were several well-known people, including Bobby Deol, Hema Malini, Rekha, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Noa Fatehi.
Shah Rukh Khan won the Best Actor award in the acting categories for his stirring portrayal in Jawan. Rani Mukerji won the Best Actress trophy for her portrayal of a strong mother in Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway. Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, won the coveted Best Film award on the spectacular night. On behalf of the team, producer Bhushan Kumar and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga accepted the award.

Shah Rukh Khan took a moment to mention all other nominees for the Best Actor award and said, “I want to thank all other nominees – Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Vikrant Massey, he was great in the film – Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Paji. I think all of them were great, but I got an edge because people were happy that I worked after so long.”
“Somebody reminded me that money needs to be out into a film. So I want to thank Gauri. She may be the only wife who’s spending more on the husband than the other way round. We were going through a tough time while making Jawan (referring to the Aryan Khan case), ” Shah Rukh added.

IIFA Utsavam, an occasion honouring the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema industries, marked the beginning of the three-day festival on September 27. Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Karan, Shah Rukh, and Rekha were also present on the second day of the event. The invite-only IIFA Rocks will take place on September 29 to cap off IIFA 2024. Live performances by musicians including Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy are planned for the audience.
