A SEX beast who murdered his half-brother’s fiancee has died the day after he was freed.
Gavin Boyd killed Vikki McGrand, 20, after being released seven years into a previous ten-year jail term for attempting to rape a teenager.
But he suffered a stroke while in Glenochil prison, near Alloa, and was freed by Justice Secretary Angela Constance on compassionate grounds on August 30 — 14 years into a 20-year sentence for killing Vikki.
The fiend, 65, died the next day.
He killed Vikki at her Ayr home in 2008 as he feared she would reveal he was a cross-dresser.
He knocked her to the ground, tied a PlayStation cable around her neck and smothered her with a pillow.

Boyd was tagged and out on licence at the time, having forced his earlier victim to strip before chasing her with a knife in 1999.
Last night a Scottish Prison Service spokesman said: “We don’t comment on individuals.”
