WATCH: SENZO MEYIWA MURDER TRIAL
Last week, State prosecutor advocate Ronnie Sibanda told the court that a Capitec Bank employee verified Sibiya’s bank statements through an affidavit that was commissioned.
The statements showed that Sibiya made a series of transactions in Johannesburg between September and October 2014.
Some transactions were made in Vosloorus for consecutive days in October.
Sibiya had claimed that he was residing in KwaZulu-Natal between 2013 and 2014 and that he only returned to Gauteng in 2015.
As previously reported by The South African, Meyiwa was shot and killed at the home of his then-girlfriend and singer Kelly Khumalo on 26 October 2014.
