Delhi University has announced the detailed schedule for the upcoming undergraduate admission rounds under CSAS (UG) for the 2024-25 academic year.
New Delhi: Delhi University has announced the detailed schedule for the upcoming undergraduate admission rounds under CSAS (UG) for the 2024-25 academic year. According to the schedule, the university will open the upgrade window from 5 pm (IST) on August 31 till September 1 at 5 pm (IST). During this period, candidates admitted in round I and round II can opt for upgradation to a higher preference. Apart from that, they can reorder their preferred program and college combinations that are ranked higher than their current allocation.
If the candidate receives an upgraded seat at Delhi University then their allocation will be directly processed at the college level. However, admission will only be finalised upon the clearance of any differential fees.
The University will declare the upgraded allocations on September 3 at 5 pm. Candidates will be given time until September 4 to accept the allocated seats.
The deadline for payment of full admission fees is September 6 till 5 pm (IST).
MID ENTRY WINDOW
If a candidate misses the earlier phases of the CSAS (UG) 2024, the mid-entry window will provide them another opportunity to apply.
However, this provision is only available from September 7 at 5 pm till 5 pm of September 9. In this, the participant has to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 for mid-entry.
The candidates who were previously rejected in Round I and Round II due to incorrect subject mapping or failure to meet program-specific eligibility can correct their preferences during the mid-entry period.
THIRD ROUND ALLOCATIONS
Candidates who wish to be considered in the third round are advised to carefully review the vacant seat matrix and make their preferences accordingly. The preferences submitted by 4:59 PM on September 9 will be used for the subsequent allocations. It’s important to note that the cut-offs and ranks for the third round will not be related to those from earlier rounds.
The third round of seat allocation UG admissions will be declared on September 11 at 5 pm (IST). The candidates have to accept the seats by 5 pm (IST) on September 13, 2024. College will then verify the applications on September 14 at 5 pm (IST). Candidates must clear their fee for the third-round admissions by 5 pm (IST) on September 15.
The University will release the list of vacant seats on September 5 at 5 pm (IST), allowing candidates to review the available options before choosing their preferences.
