The Supreme Court Friday issued notice on a public interest litigation (PIL) challenging the cancellation of NEET super speciality examination (NEET SS) for 2024.
A bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) D Y Chandrachud issued notice on the plea and granted liberty to the petitioner to implead National Board of Examinations (NBE) as a party to the case.
The plea argues that in order to accommodate NEET PG students, NEET SS was not being held this year. The examination has been reportedly scheduled for January next year.
