While the magnum opus Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is trending on streaming platforms and on social media, Sargun Mehta has joined the trend. Showcasing her admiration for the beautiful courtesan looks which was created by the ambitious filmmaker for actresses like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and others which have garnered ample attention, Sargun recreated a similar ethnic and traditional look in her latest post on social media.

Going by the video, it seems that the actress was doing a photoshoot and decided to give her fans some major vintage vibes with her lavish look in a golden and red embroidery lehenga. Adding to it was the layers of some exquisite neck pieces, jhumkas, and of course a passa, maangtikka and taking the dupatta over the head completed the look that resembled the actresses of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Fans, who were left mesmerised and enthralled by her elegance and charm, couldn’t stop themselves from appreciating this visual treat and took to the platform to drop heart and fire emojis, showering their love on Mehta’s look. Furthermore, some of them even commented that the actress is looking a ‘Queen’ whereas a few of them wanted to see her as a bride once again.
Interestingly, the actress had created this look while shooting with Gippy Grewal for the Punjabi film Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri which released recently. The actress had shared several BTS videos last month from the movie wherein she is seen adorning this royal avatar.
On the work front, Sargun Mehta, along with husband actor Ravi Dubey, owns the television production house Dreamiyata Entertainment, along with that, the couple also kicked off their music label. As for Sargun, the actress who kicked off her career in the entertainment industry with television, is currently one of the most popular actresses in Punjabi Cinema along with adding Hindi films to her repertoire too.
