Sana Makbul, who is currently in a relationship with Telugu businessman Srikanth Bureddy, recently shared her reasons for never dating actors. During an interview with News18 Showsha, the actress revealed why she prefers relationships outside the entertainment industry and what she admires about couples who share the same profession.

Why she’s never dated an Actor
Sana explained that while she has actor friends who are either married or dating, she has noticed a lack of security in those relationships. “I’ve actor friends who’re either married or dating, but they don’t have that sense of security. Understanding each other is rare and it’s beautiful. Taking each other’s criticisms positively is very important,” she said. She also admitted that she’s always been drawn to individuals outside the film industry, particularly businessmen, as she hasn’t experienced dating an actor and doesn’t know how those relationships work.
Admiration for Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh
One couple Sana looks up to is singer Neha Kakkar and her husband, Rohanpreet Singh. She recently collaborated with Rohanpreet on the music video ‘Kaala Maal’ and shared her thoughts on their relationship. “If I talk about Rohanpreet and Neha, there’s an understanding that they share, and that’s what partnership is all about. It’s all about appreciating each other. If you and your partner are compatible, half the battle is already won. As husband and wife, they understand each other’s professions too,” Sana said, praising the couple’s dynamic.
Challenges of being in the same profession
Sana admitted that it’s never easy for couples in the same profession to navigate relationships. However, she highlighted the importance of communication and transparency. “Judgement is a deal-breaker. They may not like each other’s work, but if they have transparency when it comes to communication, then it gets very easy. Neha and Rohanpreet give so much importance to each other, and that’s why they’re together,” she shared.
Sana’s ‘Jealous’ of Neha and Rohanpreet’s bond
Despite her contentment in her own relationship, Sana couldn’t help but express a bit of envy towards Neha and Rohanpreet’s bond. “I look at them and feel really jealous (laughs). I’m in awe of them. I want to have what they have,” she admitted.
The actress, who won Bigg Boss OTT 3, continues to maintain her distance from dating actors, standing firm in her belief that understanding and security are key to a lasting relationship.
