Samsung Galaxy S24 FE appears on Geekbench with Exynos 2400, launch imminent

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Geekbench scores revealed

  • The Geekbench listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice, shows the Galaxy S24 FE has the model number SM-S721B.
  • The handset has managed to score 2047 in the single-core round and 6289 in the multi-core round.
  • The listing suggests the chipset will have a 10-core CPU and the motherboard ID of S5e9945. This could be the Exynos 2400 chipset.
  • However, there are chances that this could be a slightly tweaked version of the Exynos 2400 SoC compared to the one found in the standard Galaxy S24 models.
  • The prime Cortex-X4 core on the Galaxy S24 FE is clocked at 3.11GHz, which is lower than the standard Exynos 2400 at 3.21GHz.
  • The chipset should be paired with the Xclipse 940 GPU.
  • The Galaxy S24 FE will pack 8GB RAM and is likely to boot Android 14 OS, probably skinned with OneUI 6.0 custom skin.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: what we know so far

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy S23 FE from last year. Recent rumours claimed the phone would come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. In comparison, the predecessor featured a 6.4-inch screen size.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is tipped to feature a 50MP ISOCELL GN3 1/1.57-inch sensor with 1.0μm pixels. This is the same sensor found on the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy S23 FE. This suggests there won’t be any major upgrades. The handset is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and 15W wireless charging. This is the same setup as the Galaxy S23 FE.
