Samridhii Shukla aka Abhira reveals she was ‘unsure’ about the cast change; ‘Excited kaise ho sakti hun jab…’

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai TV serial: Samridhii Shukla, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani recently sat down for a chit-chat for a special segment for Director’s Kut Productions. Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani came on-board Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe’s ouster. Rohit is now the Armaan Poddar and Garvita is Ruhi Goenka. Since the beginning, Samridhii is playing the role of Abhira in the show. So in the recent conversation, Samridhii Shukla was asked about the cast change. Rohit Purohit, Samridhii Shukla and Garvita Sadhwani sat down for a fun interaction with each other. The cast asked questions to each other. It was Rohit Purohit who asked Samridhii whether she was excited for the cast change. To this, the actress stated that she was unsure. She stated that how can she be excited when she did not know what was going to happen. The actress was quoted saying, “I was unsure. Excited kaise hosakti hun tab mujhe pata hi nahi kya hone wala hai. Jamegi, nahi jamegi, phir se mujhe dekhna padega ki do logo se tuning jamani hai.” When Garvita asked whether she is happy now, Samridhii said that she is happy and excited. Further, Rohit Purohit was asked whether he is team Abhira or team Ruhi. To this, he said that he has to chose team Abhira as he has majority of his scenes with her. But he also called Ruhi a good friend of Armaan.

Currently, in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan and Abhira are separated. It is because of Ruhi that they are separated. Ruhi and Armaan’s past came in between his love story with Abhira. Kaveri revealed the truth to Abhira and she decided to leave him forever. But he is making efforts to win her trust and get her back into his life. Samridhii and Rohit currently make for the best on-screen jodi as of now. In the upcoming episode, we see Garvita Sadhwani aka Ruhi suffering panic attacks as Abhira is back in Poddar house.
