The ongoing wedding preparations of South actor Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to take place in the first week of December 2024. Between the busy wedding schedule of the South celebrity, Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife recently spilled beans about her married life with the actor. Samantha was brutally trolled on social media after she separated from Chaitanya in 2021. However, the Citadel actress broke her silence over her marriage with Naga Chaitanya. Samantha Prabhu opens up about her divorce from ex-husband Naga Chaitanya
Samantha Prabhu boldly addressed the issues faced by women in the society. Talking about patriarchal dominance, a relationship fallout undergoes multiple scrutiny. Talking to Galatta India Samantha revealed, “Unfortunately, we live in a society which is so patriarchal, that anytime something goes wrong, a woman gets subjected to… I’m not saying men don’t, men do, but a woman gets subjected to a lot more judgment and a lot more shaming, not just online, even in real life (sic).”
The actress revealed how untrue things were said about her during her divorce and how this fuelled the online abuse. However, she was determined not to let the lies define her.
The Citadel actress further revealed how she was brutally trolled on social media when her divorce news broke out. She further addressed that she was subjected to online abuse. However, Samantha told herself that she wouldn’t be suppressed by the lies that many assumed her on social media. “Many things were said about me that were absolutely untrue. But what held me back, I remember having this conversation with myself when things were really, really crappy and they were really, really… absolute lies were being spread. And there were many times when I wanted to come out and say, this is not true, let me tell you the truth,” said Samantha Prabhu.
Despite being abused online and being subjected to trolls, Samantha was held back for a moment, she pondered asking her inner self what good might come from responding to negativity on social media. “You gain a bunch of people who are so fickle, they may love you for a minute, and then maybe like three days later, you do something stupid and they go back to hating you again”, said Samantha. She further explained, “Can you not live with the fact that your friends and your family know the truth? And it’s okay. If people think that you think all of these things that are not true about you, isn’t it okay? It’s fine.”
Samantha Prabhu had a desire to seek validation. According to her, she now learned to adapt to the situation and practiced embracing herewith looking for a second opinion from the public. The actress added, “All my life I wanted to be loved and validated and appreciated. It’s okay. So yeah, I mean, I still haven’t said anything. So whoever believes, whatever they believe, it’s up to them.”

For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya is set to marry actress Sobhita Dhulipala. The couple reportedly met on the sets through a mutual friend and dated for almost two years.
