Salman Khan house firing: Accused gunmen taken for medical examination before being produced in court |

The two accused men involved in the firing incident outside Salman Khan‘s Bandra house on Sunday morning were spotted at Mumbai’s GT Hospital early this afternoon for a medical examination.
Visuals from the hospital showed the two accused with black bags on their heads, being led into the hospital for their checkup. According to ANI, the two will then be presented before the court in the ongoing case.
An FIR was registered against the two under section 307 (attempted murder) of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act.

The two men, identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were arrested from Bhuj in Gujarat and handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch early Tuesday morning for questioning. Etimes photographers got visuals of the alleged gunmen arriving at the Mumbai airport this morning. The two were flown into Mumbai from Gujarat to begin their interrogation.

Lakhmi Gautam, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), said the men are being brought to the city where they will be produced before the court and will then be interrogated to find out who gave them the contract for the firing.

Reports currently allege that the two men are likely working at the behest of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang after the imprisoned gangster’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack. After firing four rounds outside the actor’s house, the two men reportedly fled to Surat from Mumbai from where they went to Bhuj and lay low.
