First XV teams from EG Jansen and Oakdale as well as Rugby Academy Travel are representing South Africa at the prestigious four-day tournament taking place at the Pattana Sports Resort in Thailand.

EJ Jansen will take on New Zealand’s Westlake Boys in the first semi-final clash on Friday, while Oakdale will face off against St Michael’s College from Ireland in the other Cup semi-final.

These fixtures came about after EJ Jansen thumped England’s Eton College 32-5 on Wednesday and Oakdale edged Cardiff & Vale (Wales) 18-14 to book their respective spots in the last four.

The four teams that were eliminated from the main Cup event, will participate in the plate playoffs, with SA’s Rugby Academy Travel going up against English school Hartpury and Eton squaring off against Cardiff & Vale.
