Esha Verma recently made her Instagram account private after Rupali Ganguly slammed her stepdaughter with a defamation charges of Rs 50 crore.
Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly has recently taken legal action, issuing a defamation notice to her stepdaughter, Esha Verma, seeking a hefty compensation of Rs 50 crore. The legal move comes after Esha made serious allegations against both Rupali and her father, Ashwin Verma. Esha accused Rupali of having an affair with Ashwin while he was still married to her mother and further claimed that the actress physically assaulted her mother in Mumbai.

In response to the defamation case, Esha has shared a video message on Instagram, where she expressed that she is focusing on moving forward with her life. In the video, Esha also revealed that she is currently in America, where she feels more protected amid the ongoing legal drama.
After the Anupamaa actress issued the defamation notice, Esha Verma swiftly removed all posts related to the Anupamaa actress from her social media and even made her Instagram account private. However, Esha recently returned to Instagram, posting a video message for her followers. In the video, she shared her thoughts, saying, “Hi everybody. It’s Esha here and I just want to say thank you all for being so kind and supportive and sweet. It means the world to me. And I’m just going to be private for a little bit just for my sake. And we’re just moving forward from here.”
Esha further said, “And just to remind everybody, I’m in America so things are a little bit different here, and we’re more protected. And whatever it is, I just want to say this community we’re building is so beautiful and I’ve been looking at everyone’s profiles. There’s so much great energy. And if you’re going to be negative, I’m just gonna block you or take you off, just letting you know. But sending so much love. You guys should be so proud of yourselves. You are incredible!”
In her recent Instagram post, Esha revealed that due to personal reasons she will be going off, the diva said, “I might be a little bit limited with my responses because I am going to be a little bit offline for something. I would love to chat with you. Seriously. Don’t feel afraid to talk to me, I just won’t talk about certain topics, so just be prepared for that.”
For those who don’t know, Esha Verma is the daughter of businessman Ashwin Verma, she was born to his second wife Sapna Verma. Esha Verma currently lives in the United States. Her father Ashwin and mother Sapna tied the knot in 1997 but separated in 2008. Ashwin later remarried actress Rupali Ganguly in 2013, and together they have a son, Rudransh.
