The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is set to begin the online registration process for recruitment of Technician Grade I (SIgnal) and Technician Grade III (Various) from tomorrow, i.e March 9, 2024.
According to the notification released earlier by the RRB, the online application process will begin on March 9, 2024 (tomorrow) and will go on till April 8, 2024 11:59 PM.Application modification window will open on April 9 and end on April 18, 2024.
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 9144 vacancies in Technician posts. This includes 1092 Grade I Signal and 8052 posts of Grade III for various categories.

Step 2: Look for the option labelled ‘Apply Online – Recruitment of Technician 2024’ and click on it.
Step 3: Complete the registration process by providing necessary details.
Step 4: Log in using your Email Address and Password.
Step 5: Enter your basic and educational qualifications, and upload required documents including photographs and signatures.
Step 6: Pay the application fee.
Step 7: Review all the details entered and make sure they are correct.

Selection process
The shortlisting of candidates for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination will be conducted by each Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) individually, with a ratio of 1:1 corresponding to the vacancies for that specific RRB. Selection will be based on the candidates’ merit in the Computer Based Test (CBT), with marks normalized for CBTs held across multiple shifts.
Successful candidates for DV will be notified through the official RRB websites, as well as via SMS and email sent to their registered mobile number and email ID, prompting them to download their E-call letters for the DV session. Additionally, negative marking will apply in the CBT, with 1/3rd of the mark deducted for every incorrect answer.
