It has been reported that the company is likely to launch the vehicle during its yearly motorcycling festival called Motoverse.
The home-grown two-wheeler maker Royal Enfield (RE) is all set to add a new scrambler motorcycle to its Indian lineup. The model will be called under the nameplate Bear 650, and is scheduled to break all the covers in November 5, 2024.
It has been reported that the company is likely to launch the vehicle during its yearly motorcycling festival called Motoverse. The event is scheduled to take place in Goa’s Vagator at Hill Top, kickstarting on November 22.
Here’s What to Expect
The company has shared some significant details about the same. Even it has released a teaser across social media platforms, hinting about the style and road presence of the upcoming scrambler.
The vehicle will hit the market with an aggressive style statement and is likely to raise the bar in the dominating segment. It will be the fifth offering from the brand in 650cc after Interceptor, Continental GT, Super Meteor and Shotgun 650.
Suspension Setup
It will feature the company’s signature style round-shaped headlight setup, paired with sleek indicators at both ends. According to the leaks, the upcoming Interceptor Bear 650 is likely to use a new USD fork at the front, while the rear will be a twin shock observer.
Wheels and Powertrain
The vehicle will run on the spoke wheels (the size is yet to be revealed), under which the customers will be the disc brakes at both ends. When it comes to the powertrain, the motorcycle will use the same 648 cc parallel-twin engine. It is likely to produce a maximum power of 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm.
