Rosetta Getty Spring 2025 Ready to Wear Runway, Fashion Show & Collection Review

As she did with resort, Rosetta Getty is thinking about the 10th anniversary of her brand. While in seasons past she looked to female artists to collaborate with, she now is spending time looking inward and thinking about what her customer needs, as well as at her previous work and how she can evolve. One answer: a fitted sheath dress, cut in double-layer stretch fluid organza as a slimming, longer version of the bestselling tank top from her pre-fall offering. Plongé blazers and zip-up leather outerwear were soft and covetable and there was the perfect fit polo.

She obsesses about fit and construction, like with her loosely cut suiting and its fabrications that really make her work sing — cotton nylon yarn from a fully vertical mill in Japan, or deadstock mélange jersey, sourced in Los Angeles.

There is a lighter turn this season with comfortable, wearable silhouettes that feel ideal for a warm locale. Hand-crocheted knit dresses had a hint of silver sheen on beige yarn, while there were new Bermuda shorts. Getty shot the collection at the Modulightor Building on 58th Street, putting in a playful conversation with the building’s Modernist design. “I’ve always loved how architecture and fashion can work together,” she said. “We chose the Modulightor House by Paul Rudolph because his bold, Modernist designs just fit so well with the clean lines and structure I like to explore in my work.”
