Richa Chadha is enjoying her brand new phase of motherhood and balancing work. The actress who became a mother over a month and a half ago on July 16th has been shuffling between mother duties and has resumed work. The actress is already working in full swing on her production duties.
Richa Chadha recalls wrapping Heeramandi promotions on the cusp of month 8 of pregnancy: “Can’t wait to get back to a set!”
She took to social media to highlight a truly appreciative part of being a new mother. The actress shared a throwback video when she was nearly 8 months pregnant and was promoting Heeramandi. She wrote, “Wednesday for women power!”
She further added, “This video is from May, on the cusp of month 8 of pregnancy… while I was wrapping up promotions for @heeramandinetflix. It takes a village to raise a kid but also to get dolled up for events! Here I was on my way for a press meet and greet! God knows, I didn’t wake up like this! TY@shaylinayak @ashisbogi @deepakvijayrathod and @vickyvandre! Was excited to reunite with cast members and meet journalists who’d just seen the show! Got live feedback and tonnes of love

Ever since Richa welcomed her first child, she has been constantly sharing her thoughts on motherhood with her fans on social media. A week ago, she has shared a selfie on her IG story with a caption reading, “Screw every single person who won’t let a mom shower in peace, even once a week.”
Besides her social media posts, the actress is also making headlines for her production venture, Girls Will Be Girls, which was recently screened at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Spekaing of the same, “We are beyond thrilled that Girls Will Be Girls will close the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024. This film has been a labor of love, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see it resonate with audiences worldwide. Thank you for the immense support and we are grateful to IFFM for choosing our film to close their 15th edition of the festival”, Richa said in an official statement.
