Renuka Swamy Murder Case: Well-known Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his partner Pavithra Gowda were taken into police custody after being apprehended in Renuka Swamy’s suspected murder case. An important development in the murder case is the confirmation that Darshan’s admirer died from shock and haemorrhage. The victim was found with 15 wounds, according to NDTV. Furthermore, it stated that Renuka’s head struck a tiny car that was stored in a shed in Bengaluru and is being held by police.
His body was covered with many cuts and markings on the chest, belly, and head, among other areas. The victim, who was reportedly tortured and killed by well-known Darshan, died from shock and haemorrhage, according to a recent postmortem report. Actor Darshan and his friends are accused of beating Swamy to death.
Renuka Swamy was allegedly tortured with a rope, leather belt, and wooden logs that the authorities found. According to the police, Thoogudeepa reportedly made arrangements for three guys to accept responsibility for the murder in exchange for Rs 5 lakh each. However, it turned out that they were involved during questioning.
Who is Renuka Swamy And Why Did Kannada Actor Darshan Kill Him?
Renuka Swamy was discovered deceased near Bengaluru’s Sumanahalli Bridge on June 8, 2024. It is said that he was employed at a Chitradurga branch of Apollo Pharmacy. He is said to have sent lewd texts to Darshan’s acquaintance, Kannada actor Pavithra Gowad.
Renuka was killed and his corpse was dumped in front of Darshan in a canal at Kamaksshipalya, Bengaluru. Eight of the defendants have witnessed Darshan’s involvement, stating that he was there when Renuka Swamy was assaulted.
Darshan was taken into police custody for six days after being taken into custody by the Bengaluru police from Mysuru on June 11. Investigations are being conducted on his involvement in the murder of Renuka Swamy.
