What’s new on Redmi 13 4G?
Redmi 13 4G is a successor to the Redmi 12 4G from last year. We get the same 6.79-inch display on both models and the screen has an FHD+ resolution. We also get the same 90Hz refresh rate so the display hasn’t seen an upgrade.
The primary upgrade on the Redmi 13 4G is the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra, compared to the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. While both phones offer only 4G network support, there will be some notable performance upgrades. With the new Redmi phone, we get the latest Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin. It looks like Xiaomi wants to increase the number of devices that have HyperOS, which is an upgraded UI from MIUI.
The 50MP primary camera sensor on the predecessor is replaced with a 108MP primary camera sensor that should offer slightly improved results with less noise. The front camera is also bumped to a 13MP unit from an 8MP shooter. The battery is slightly increased to 5030mAh capacity and the fast charging speed is now 33W compared to 18W.
