Realme to introduce new ‘Note’ series

Realme founder and CEO Sky Li announced on X (Twitter) the new product lineup. It’s going to be called the ‘Realme Note’ series, and all that Li revealed so far is that it will be a brand-new product lineup. Realme Europe CEO Francis Wong also tweeted on the same saying that the brand’s product strategy for 2024 is to “face the competition more straightly.”

Realme Note 50

  • There have already been leaks about an upcoming Realme phone dubbed the ‘Realme Note 50’. This smartphone with the moniker has already been spotted on multiple certification sites including Thailand’s NBTC and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
  • The Realme Note 50 is tipped to be a budget 4G offering with a 4,890mAh battery, and 10W charging support.
  • Realme Note 50 has appeared on Geekbench as well with an octa-core Unisoc T612 chipset clocked at 1.82GHz.
  • It’s also tipped to feature a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display, a 13MP primary camera and a 0.8MP secondary camera at the back, and a 5MP selfie camera.
  • Based on these details, we can expect the Realme Note 50 to be priced under Rs 10,000 in India. With the official announcement out, we should start seeing more details about the Realme smartphone series soon.
  • It’s interesting though as Realme’s arch rival Redmi also has its Note smartphone series, which is its most popular one among consumers.

Realme is currently preparing to launch the Realme 12 Pro series in India on January 29th. It’s expected to feature two phones, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. The brand has so far revealed the phone’s back design, and that it will feature the largest OV64B periscope telephoto sensor with a 1/2-inch image sensor.
