Daylight
The Realme GT 6 captures more accurate images than its counterpart with the 50MP primary snapper in daylight. Both images (above) were captured in overcast conditions around the afternoon. The iQOO image appears somewhat unnatural due to the overprocessing of colours and details. Its dynamic range is also overwhelming, leading to poor detail in shadowy areas. In contrast, the Realme GT 6 handles this better, even though the images are brighter than ideal. The handset offers decent exposure to finer details.

Ultrawide
There is a slight colour shift when switching to the ultrawide lens from the main sensor. Both smartphones feature an 8MP snapper with a similar field of view, resulting in comparable levels of detail. However, the iQOO smartphone’s overprocessing seems to help it produce relatively sharper images. In contrast, the Realme GT 6 exhibits graininess around the edges of the frame.

Additionally, the colours, though not entirely accurate, are more appealing on the Neo 9 Pro compared to the Realme GT 6.

When it comes to selfies both the iQOO Neo 9 Pro and Realme GT 6 have an identical output. We noticed that selfies from both these phones have a bit of smoothening of facial details and muddy skin tones.

In low light, the overexposure seen in daylight images appears to work in favour of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. The handset prevents the signboard from bleeding colours, which is apparent on the Realme GT 6. However, the latter manages to capture highlights and keep noise levels down with relatively brighter images. So the choice between the two depends on your preference. If you are after sharper results, then iQOO Neo 9 Pro should be your choice. Otherwise, opt for Realme GT 6 which outputs brighter and more detailed images.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro delivers much more dramatic and social media-ready images in night mode. There are proper highlights on the iQOO smartphone, which seems to be missing on the Realme GT 6 due to its inability to control the overexposure of lights.
