Realme GT 6 chipset, battery details officially revealed ahead of India launch

Realme GT 6 key specifications revealed

  • The Realme GT 6 is confirmed to be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which is said to be good for affordable smartphones, compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC on the Realme GT 5, which did not arrive in India.
  • Additionally, the company says the Realme GT 6 will be equipped with the tempered dual VC cooling system, which is claimed to enhance cooling efficiency and ensure sustained performance without the device overheating, even while gaming.
  • The GT 6 will pack a 5,500mAh battery with a 120W SUPERVOOC charger, which can charge it fully within half an hour. Meanwhile, the GT 5 comes in two variants – a 5,240mAh battery with 150W fast charging and a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging, which indicates a downgraded fast-charging support on the upcoming GT series phone.
  • According to the company, the Smart Charging feature will ensure safe charging, even in extreme conditions. The battery is claimed to offer up to 46 hours of talk time and 8 hours of PUBG gameplay.

What’s worth mentioning is that all these features corroborate reports that mentioned the Realme GT 6 will be a rebranded variant of the Realme GT Neo 6, as the Neo variant was recently launched in China with the same Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and a 5,500mAh battery with 120W SUPERVOOC charging support.
