Reportedly, filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is adapting the Ramayana story, with Ranbir Kapoor set to portray the role of Lord Ram.
Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayana is one of the highly anticipated films. According to reports, the film will feature Ranbir Kapoor as lord Ram. Though the cast of the film is yet to be announced, several reports claim that Kannada actor Yash and South actress Sai Pallavi have been finalised for the roles of Ravana and Sita respectively. Now, another set of reports is doing rounds on the internet which claim that TV actor Ravi Dubey is being eyed for the role of Lakshman. However, an official confirmation in the same is awaited.
Ravi Dubey made a significant name in the TV industry. Dubey’s skills not just lies in being an actor but also a producer. Every now and then bits and pieces of information about the film Ramayana makes round in the entertainment circle. According to Bollywood Hungama, the movie is delayed as the costumes are not lavish enough. A source close to the portal also said, that the movie will not hit the big screens in 2024.
