Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and acclaimed southern director Prasanth Varma were all set to create some magic together with a big-budget movie ‘Rakshas,’ under the banner of Mythri Production. However, a news report by Pinkvilla indicates that the Padmavat actor may have some ‘rough patch with filmmaker Prasanth Varma. Ranveer Singh Steps Down From Prasanth Varma’s Rakshas
On May 30th, a joint statement was shared by Ranveer Singh, Prasanth Varma, and Mythri Movie Makers reflecting a mutual agreement to part ways on the Rakshas project. Nevertheless, they remain hopeful about joining forces again in future ventures. The Shaktimaan actor said, “Prasanth is a very special talent. We met and explored the idea of a film together. Hopefully, we will collaborate on something exciting in the future (sic).” On the other hand, Prasanth further added, “Ranveer’s energy and talent is rare to find. We shall manifest our forces combining soon sometime in the future. (sic)”

The media agency claimed, “He is prioritizing family over his hectic film schedule. While he is hearing a lot of scripts, his focus is to invest more time in the family. He is secure with his line-up while continuing to read more to have exciting projects under his kitty. The two confirmed films at the moment include Don 3 and Shaktimaan. There’s Aditya Dhar next also in the writing stage (sic).”
