He shared that he first met Alia when she was just 9 years old and he was 20 or 21, during a photo shoot for a movie project that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to make called Balika Vadhu. At that time, Ranbir was assisting Bhansali on ‘Black’. He reflected on how it feels a bit strange now, but he has always respected Alia deeply, both as an actor and as a person.
