Post the release of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2- The Rule, it is now time for Ram Charan and Shankar to take center stage and take the Telugu cinema ahead with their latest film Game Changer. It is a very important film for both superstars as Ram is coming after the super success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Shankar has just delivered a dud with Indian 2 and wants to change things around with his latest film.
The film is just two days away from its release with its advance booking opening on Tuesday. In one day the film has sold tickets with Rs 1 crore till now , it is being released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. As per Sacnilk, the Telugu version has till now sold over 27000 tickets, while Tamil has sold over 2400 and Hindi has sold over 6200 tickets. The film is also supposed to have an IMAX release.
Game Changer needs a serious push at the point in ticket sales to open big on the day of the release. As per date seen on Sacnilk, as per right now the total ticket sales for the film is about Rs 2.5 crore, out of which Rs 1.5 crore has come in from the block booking way. It would be interesting to see how the film fares from this point on.
The film is a political thriller and it also stars SJ Suryah and Kiara Advani. Ram Charan seems to have a dual role in the film with one of his characters being an IAS officer.
