Rajpal Yadav recently opened up about the latest box office performance of Atlee‘s ‘Baby John’. He also reveals how its debacle has affected teh actor.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rajpal said that Varun is a sweet and hardworking individual. He highlighted Varun’s continuous efforts to take on diverse roles, avoiding typecasting, and earning appreciation for his risks in an ever-changing industry. Yadav emphasized that taking risks is challenging, and Varun deserves praise and blessings for his efforts.
He further mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan have similar acting journeys, as both took risks and experimented with different roles. He compared Shah Rukh’s career, where he balanced commercial films with experiments like Paheli, Ashoka, and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, to Varun’s choices over the past 10 years, starting with Student of the Year. Both actors became great artists through such varied experimentation.
Earlier in conversation with Ranveer Allahabadia, Varun emphasised the need for change in Bollywood, urging those in power to adapt to stay relevant. He praised stars like Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir for staying grounded and aware of industry shifts. Varun also pointed out the increasing challenges for newcomers, who now consider acting, OTT platforms, or influencer careers.
