The silver screen delight featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao has impressively made a business of Rs 23.36 crore with over 8.2 lakh tickets sold in India alone. Looking at numbers shared by Sacnilk.com, Stree 2 has reached a new pinnacle in this year’s advance booking stats for Bollywood films. The film had easily surpassed the advance booking collections of both Khel Khel Mein starring Akshay Kumar (Rs 1.54 crore) and Vedaa starring John Abrahan which collected (Rs 1.49 crore)
The sequel to Stree, released in 2018, Stree 2 made a commendable business on its opening day, with the film opening to the public last night (August 14) after 9:30 pm. Factors contributing to the strong start include its intriguing storyline and the addition of a talented cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, who added a special touch to the film.”

On its opening day, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi earned Rs 6.85 crore, while Srikanth garnered Rs 2.25 crore. Stree 2 on its opening day made a nett collection of Rs 27.45 crore. It is estimated that the horror-comedy will close at Rs 30-34 crore on day one. August 15 has given the perfect start to Stree 2 makers, looking forward to its first weekend, the film is set to shatter multiple box office records with its gripping storyline and cameos by popular superstars.
