Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule is just around the corner for release. The movie is set to hit the big screens on December 5, with only four days left for its grand debut. Ahead of the film’s arrival in theatres, Pushpa 2 advance booking has kicked off in specific regions of India, particularly in the Hindi-speaking belt. The immense hype surrounding the film is evident from ticket prices, which have soared to Rs 2,000 for a single ticket. Interestingly, shows in cities like Delhi and Mumbai are already almost sold out.
Pushpa 2: The Rule’s Costliest Tickets
After Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise became a massive hit, fans have been eagerly waiting to see him reprise his iconic avatar. Now, as the sequel nears release, ticket prices in many locations are premium.
Delhi’s PVR Director’s Cut leads the way with ticket prices for the Hindi 2D version set at Rs 2400.
In Mumbai, Maison PVR at Jio World Drive comes close with tickets priced at ₹2100. While these are premium theatres known for their higher rates, the prices for this release are exceptionally steep.
The IMAX and 3D ticket prices for Pushpa 2 are also soaring. At Delhi’s PVR Select City Walk, recliner seats for an IMAX show on opening night are priced at Rs 1860. In Mumbai, similar seats in various theatres are priced between Rs 1500 and Rs 1700. Despite the high rates, most of these theatres are seeing tickets sell out rapidly.
Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 advance booking has not yet fully opened in the Telugu-speaking states, which are the film’s core market. However, to delight fans, the Telangana government has granted permission for a special evening show to be held on December 4 at 9:30 PM.
