HAZMAT crews have been scrambled to a Scots town amid a major ongoing incident.
Blue light crews were deployed to Glebe Place in Cambuslang, Lanarkshire.
The area has been sealed off as emergency workers deal with the incident.
It is understood some locals have been evacuated.
Police officers in riot gear have also been spotted at the scene.
Several police vehicles, fire engines and an SFRS Hazmat team have all been spotted at the scene.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We are currently in attendance at Glebe Place.”
Police Scotland has also been approached for comment.
