Following the inauguration, he along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a tour of the centre that can seat 20,000 people at a time for meditation. Verses of the Swarveda have been carved upon the walls of the Mahamandir — a seven-floor superstructure.
“I was mesmerized when I took a tour of the Swarved Mahamandir…The divine teachings of Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana, Gita and Mahabharata have been depicted through pictures on the walls of Swarved Mahamandir…,” he said.

“Under the aegis of seers, people of Kashi have set new records of progress and development. The government, society, and saints are working together for Kashi’s transformation,” he added.
Approximately three hundred thousand individuals are participating in a two-day 25,000 Kundiya Yajna that commenced on Monday to mark the opening of the temple. In addition to establishing a yagyashala spanning 20 lakh square feet, a tent city has been set up to accommodate participants arriving from various parts of the world.
