On the other hand, a London tribunal recently decided that Sony will face a significant lawsuit, estimated at up to £6.3 billion ($7.9 billion), equivalent to more than Rs 6,500 crore. The allegations center around claims that the PlayStation manufacturer abused its dominant position, leading to unjust prices for consumers.
In the previous year, a lawsuit was initiated against Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) on behalf of nearly 9 million individuals in the UK who had bought digital games or add-on content through Sony’s PlayStation Store.
