A PERSON has been rushed to hospital after they were found injured on railway tracks.
Emergency services raced to Hyndland station in Glasgow this afternoon after the alarm was raised.
The British Transport Police was alerted around 4.23pm to a casualty at the busy train stop.
Ambulance crews attended and helped a person who was hurt on the lines, before transporting them to hospital.
It is not yet clear how the person came to be on the tracks.
But BTP officers are not treating the matter as suspicious.
The emergency led to ScotRail advising customers that services could face alterations or cancellations.
The operator has since advised travellers that trains are running to timetable.
But it also warned that some services could still be axed, delayed or altered.
A BTP spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Hyndland railway station at 4.23pm today (22 April) to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
