Eskom, South Africa’s state-owned electricity supplier, has announced a scheduled power supply interruption affecting customers in Ekurhuleni.
The temporary outage is due to essential maintenance on the distribution network and is set to take place on Sunday, 14 January 2024, from 9:00 to 18:00.

Areas that will undergo a power outage
Residents in Katlehong, Spruitview, and Vosloorus are advised to prepare for the interruption in power supply during the specified timeframe.
Eskom emphasises that the maintenance is crucial for ensuring the optimal functioning of their distribution power lines.

“In the interest of Safety, customers are advised to treat all electrical appliances as live at all times during the power supply outage,” said Eskom.
