Orlando Pirates are closely monitoring the situation of Boitumelo Radiopane who’s currently out on loan at Cape Town Spurs.
Radiopane was loaned out to earn some much needed game-time however an ankle injury has prevented him from playing for Spurs.
After pushing the Cape side into the promotional playoffs last season, Radiopane unfortunately suffered a serious ankle injury in the playoffs.
The good news however is that ‘Radioman’ is back in training and could feature for Spurs after the AFCON break.
Orlando Pirates are reportedly closely monitoring their prolific rising star and are set to take a big decision on his future once Radiopane returns to action!

“It’s a complex situation because when he (Radiopane) was sent on loan, the idea was for him to get regular game time and the experience at this level and the injury has been a setback.” a source told SoccerLaduma.
“Look at the youngster from Chippa United (Azola Matrose). He is in a similar situation. Matrose hasn’t played this season due to injury since coming back from loan.”
“According to sources, Pirates are monitoring the situation closely to decide on his first team future in the coming weeks.” the publication went on to state.

In other news, Makhehlene Makhaula’s contract at Orlando Pirates comes to an end in June 2024.
The hard-tackling midfielder has struggled for game-time at the Buccaneers this season.
Makhaula has made just four substitute appearances for Orlando Pirates this season and, according to reports, the club are yet to decide if they’re going to trigger his contract extension clause or not!

“As far as I know, Makhaula is still an Orlando Pirates player. He has the option on the contract,” Makhehlene Makhaula’s agent, Sizwe Ntsangase, told iDiskiTimes.
“But I’d say whoever wants to speak about him, must contact the club.”
