PIRATES OVERTAKE CHIEFS IN RACE FOR
Stellenbosch FC midifielder, Nhlanhla Mgaga is the latest man linked with Chiefs and Pirates.
As things stand, the Bucs are favoured to sign the Stellies midfielder.
“Mgaga has now been heavily linked with both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, but it is believed that the Buccaneers are the front-runners and are likely to bring him on board,” the report read on Goal.
Furthermore, he is now a free agent after being released by Stellies. In fact, the Cape-Winelands side opted against triggering the option to extend his contract by one year. Therefore, he is available to join Chiefs, Pirates and any prospective PSL clubs.
BUCS PLAYER MOVEMENTS IMMINENT
Several player movements are imminent. Both in and out of Mayfair.
In terms of arrivals, Pirates have reportedly already signed three players. Meanwhile, several more players will be signed as they look to replace players. Six Bucs players have already left. Moreover, 13 Pirates stars are likely heading out of Mayfair. Ultimately, six more player departures are set to be confirmed. Additionally, SEVEN Bucs players are set to be loaned out of Mayfair.As is the norm during the transfer season, you can expect Amakhosi and the Bucs to rival each other off the field for several targets.
