OPPO Reno 12 series camera details leaked
- The latest leak comes from tipster DigitalChatStation who shared details on the OPPO Reno 12 on Weibo.
- The tipster suggests the OPPO Reno 12 might come with improved periscope telephoto sensors. This could be a new sensor with a higher optical zoom.
- OPPO currently uses a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom on the Reno 11 series of smartphones.
- According to DCS, the OPPO Reno 12 series phone will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series sub-platform chipset.
- The post appears to be hinting that the phones could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
- We might see a lot of mid-range phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset in 2024. iQOO Neo 9 Pro (launching in India on February 22nd) and OnePlus Ace 3.
OPPO Reno 10 series was launched in May 2023 in China, followed by Reno 11 lineup in November. There are good chances the Reno 12 series could debut around May 2024.

- Cameras: OPPO Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro feature triple rear cameras that include a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and LED flash, a 32MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. There is a 32MP Sony IMX709 front camera for selfies and video chats.
- Battery: 5,000mAh battery with 67W Super Flash Charge support. Reno 11 Pro has a 4700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
