OPPO Reno 12FS design, full specs leaked
The OPPO Reno 12 FS is said to launch as the entry model in the Reno 12 series, according to a report by Spill Some Beans. This means that it will be a toned-down version of the Reno 12 series. The report details specifications and the design of the Reno 12 FS. Starting with the design, it will feature a circular camera module as opposed to the vertical island on the Reno 12 series.
The camera module will reportedly be called the “Cosmo Ring Design” and it will even house a Halo Light with eight colours for notifications and alerts. OPPO Reno 12 FS will come in two colour options: Amber Orange and Black Green.

- OPPO Reno 12 FS will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits brightness.
- The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G paired with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. It will also offer 12GB RAM expansion.
- The OPPO Reno 12 FS will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging technology that’s claimed to go from 0 to 50 percent in 39 minutes, and 100 percent in 69 minutes.
- The triple camera setup will include a 50MP OmniVision OVD50D primary camera, an 8MP IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, you get a 32MP selfie camera on the Reno 12 FS.
- The OPPO Reno 12 FS is also said to come with AI features including AI Eraser, AI Smart Image Matting, and AI Studio that turn pictures into stickers and portraits into artworks. The smartphone will also feature an under-display fingerprint sensor and IP64 for dust and water resistance.
There’s no confirmation yet but the OPPO Reno 12 FS is expected to debut alongside the Reno 12 series. We’ll soon find out as the Reno 12 global launch takes place tomorrow. In terms of pricing, the Reno 12 FS could launch at EUR 399.99 (Rs 35,703 approx).
