OnePlus Nord 4 launch date was announced a few days ago. The phone will be unveiled in Milan, Italy on July 16th, with a simultaneous launch in India. But that’s not all the company plans to showcase during the event. Today, OnePlus officially revealed that the OnePlus Pad 2, Nord Buds 3 Pro and Watch 2R will join the Nord 4 on July 16th. All of these products are expected to be available in India as well.
OnePlus product lineup for Summer Launch Event revealed
In addition to the OnePlus Nord 4, which is touted to be the “first all-metal smartphone of the 5G era”, the company will also announce the following:
- OnePlus Pad 2, a flagship tablet and successor to the OnePlus Pad
- OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, an affordable pair of truly wireless earbuds
- OnePlus Watch 2R, a lightweight smartwatch powered by Wear OS
Details surrounding these products have not been officially revealed yet. It is speculated, however, that the OnePlus Pad 2 could be a rebrand of the OnePlus Pad Pro that was announced in China last month. Meanwhile, the Watch 2R might be a rebrand of the Watch 2 which was also launched in China.
For those wondering, the OnePlus Pad Pro is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Other features include a 12.1-inch 3K display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB RAM, and Android 14. We will have to wait and see what configuration the OnePlus Pad 2 will come with in India.
Coming to the OnePlus Watch 2 (which could be the Watch 2R), you get a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 600 nits and peak brightness of 1000 nits. The smartwatch is powered by Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and BES2700BP processors coupled with 2GB RAM. While the Chinese model runs on ColorOS Watch, the global version will ship with Wear OS. Other features include 100+ workout modes, 5 ATM and IP68 water resistance, Bluetooth 5.3, a 500mAh battery, and fast charging support.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro could be the global version of the OnePlus Buds V that was announced in China back in March. Priced at CNY 179 (approx Rs 2,100), the Buds V comes equipped with 12.4mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers, AI noise cancellation, and a promise of up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge and 38 hours with the charging case.
Much more is known about the OnePlus Nord 4, especially after some official-looking images were doing the rounds on the internet. This will be the first-ever metal unibody smartphone since the advent of 5G in the country. Images shown so far show the phone with a metal back and a bit of glass on the top to offer a mix of glass and metal finishing.
While the OnePlus Nord 4’s price in India will be officially revealed on July 16th, leaks suggest the phone will be priced around Rs 31,999, possibly a few notches cheaper than its predecessor. The phone is also expected to get the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, 6.74-inch OLED display, a 50MP primary camera, a 5,500mAh battery and 100W fast charging support.
