OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite  Realme P1
5,500mAh battery  5,000mAh battery
80W fast charging support  45W fast charging support

PCMark test

The PCMark benchmark test evaluates the time it takes for a smartphone’s battery to drop under 20 percent from 100 percent capacity. This test was performed with the brightness level set at 80 percent. The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite registered a run time of 11 hours and 30 minutes, while the Realme P1 logged 16 hours and 20 minutes. As a result, the Realme P1 is more likely to offer a longer battery life.

Winner: Realme P1

Video streaming test

For the streaming test, we played the same YouTube video on both phones for 30 minutes. The brightness and volume levels for both phones were set up at 50 percent. At the end of the test, both the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite and Realme P1 registered a battery drop of 3 percent each. The streaming test ends in a tie.

Winner: Tie

Gaming test

For our gaming test, we played BGMI, COD: Mobile, and Real Racing 3 for 30 minutes each at similar brightness and volume levels. The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite registered an aggregate battery drain of 18 percent during the test, while the Realme P1 dropped 19 percent in total.

In terms of absolute drain, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite dropped 990mAh, while the Realme P1 lost 950mAh battery capacity. The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite wins the test because it has a comparatively lower average battery drain than the Realme P1.

Winner: OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite

Charging speed

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite with 80W fast charging should charge substantially faster compared to the Realme P1 with 45W fast charging support. In the real world, however, there’s not much difference between the two.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite actually takes slightly longer, at 50 minutes, to go from 20 percent to 100 percent capacity. The Realme P1, in turn, takes 48 minutes to go from 20 percent to 100 percent capacity. The result is surprising but it can also be attributed to its beefier 5500mAh battery.

Winner: Realme P1

Verdict

Based on the tests above, the Realme P1 clinched a victory against the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite in terms of battery power. Despite having a smaller battery and lower fast charging support, it delivers comparable battery life and slightly better charging speed.

If you’re looking for a smartphone that delivers good battery life and charges fast, the Realme P1 is an option worth pursuing. It’s also more affordable compared to the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite.
